Who is this who is coming?

The BFI have released the series of BBC ghost stories for Christmas that I remember so well from my teenage years. One of the DVDs has the 1968 adaptation of 'Oh, whistle, and I'll come to you, my lad', together with the 2010 re-visualisation. The earlier one with Michael Hordern is a must-see – preferably with the lights down and strong wind rattling the windows. To compliment this, I'd suggest getting your hands on the latest CD by The Future Kings of England, which is a concept album based around the story. I know the band and sometimes wonder if they know how good they really are. They can be found at http://www.thefuturekingsofengland.com/ and to buy on-line, find it at  http://www.amazon.co.uk/This-Coming-Future-Kings-England/dp/B006IYXN06/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1350551592&sr=1-1. Highly recommended.
