Right tool for the right job

I've always maintained that while a bad workman will blame their tools for messing up, a better worker will know when the right tool is needed. And just like today when I used an impact driver to loosen some Allen keys on my motorbike, rather than trying to brute force them undone without assistance and possibly stripping the threads, next week's writing is going entail the drastic application of a hatchet when it comes to revising a book for e-publication – the plot needs thinning out.
