During the course of the weekend which has just gone, my first published novel, Faces of Mist and Flame, was available as a free download from Amazon. Not that you'd have known from this website. I am slowly getting to grips with the necessary steps required to enable a piece of on-line work rise out of the clamour and slush-pile swarm, but I'm making quite basic errors. If publicity was my raison d'étra I'd have tried filling the gap that Max Clifford left – without the sex offences – but I'd rather be writing stories. Which, as it happens, is going rather well.
