The trouble with having a surfeit of ideas is that it can be a challenge to sort the great from the good. (When you're preparing to spend the next six to nine months writing a novel you want to at least start with something you believe is great.) Last Friday I realised that the idea I'd been sure was already there, finally fought its way to the front of my mind and stumbled into view.
I'll give it a few days to demonstrate it's great.
