My wife works with a woman who is not adverse to flirting. As my wife and I believe it is okay to 'window-shop' – as long as neither of us go into to 'buy' anything – I return the compliment. Yesterday, my wife commented to her that not only had I lost weight with all the cycling I'm doing, I'm also look 'a bit of alright' in my lycra. Her colleague suggested that I could cycle past the school and pause while they all get a good eyeful.
Now, marvellous though this may be for my ego to hear, stopping outside a school while dressed in skin-tight clothing which leaves nothing to the imagination might not be in my best interest. I can envisage the odd problem or two. Admittedly, while it appears that this worked out for Jimmy Savile, in these days of heightened suspicion I think there would be a fair chance I'd end up in handcuffs. Which, when I think about it, might just encourage my wife's workmate even further ...
Don't do stupid – it's just not clever.
Total recorded cycled miles since 21st July 2012: 1714
