I have just tidied up another story/section of the outline for my next book. I am getting an awful lot of enjoyment out of constructing stand-alone stories (in the Sherlock mystery mould), but which will also have hints and links to the final climax. It's like paying with a jigsaw to which I alone have the box cover and can see where everything should go.
